We’ve developed form letters to help make the change-over easier. If you want help switching your accounts, complete these forms and send them off to the correct companies.

Open Your New Accounts.

Your first step is to open your new Security Financial Bank Checking Account. We offer
a number of checking account choices: Free Lifestyle Checking, Lifestyle Plus Interest Checking, Goodtimes Checking(for customers 50 or better), Just 4 Teens Checking, and Simply Free Checking. Once your account is in place, you have access to all of our benefits and other accounts. You can return the enclosed form with your initial deposit to any of our convenient offices.

Consumer New Account Information (PDF)

Close Your Old Accounts.

We can provide assistance with closing your accounts. Be sure to leave them active long enough to allow outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals to clear. Once you're sure that the old accounts are inactive, print out and complete the form provided below to request your previous financial institution send you the balance from that account. Then you can destroy your old checks, ATM/debit cards and deposit slips.
